ADHD Signs and Symptoms in Children

September 30, 2014

Signs and symptoms of ADHD in children:

The following are the most common signs and symptoms: carelessness, wandering attention, inability to pay attention for a length of time, poor organisational skills, inability to complete assignments, easily distracted, forgetfulness, fidgeting, difficulty in sitting still, restlessness and inability to wait for their turn.

Be CAREFUL! Some children show these characteristics although they do not have ADHD!

For example: certain sensory disorders, language impairments and lack of discipline can mainfest in behaviours which are associated with ADHD.
